Oh my goodness: the amount of work i have this week is phenomenal. I don't think i have actually had so much to do in so short a time.
Just to keep me organised:
Urgent Matters:
1. STUDY for physio midterm on Monday. poof.
2. Figure out answers to virus midterm by Wednesday. double poof.
No less Urgent, but the longer i wait, the worse it gets:
1. SCOUR primary literature: i need brachiopod diversity data. i need bivalve diversity data. I need to read MORE primary lit. to write my paper - my fantastically-thought paper (which is so humongous, i'm drowning) - Brachiopods and Bivalves - observed patterns in diversity.
I feel like a good old naturalist.... which is what biology should return to. A good grounding in organismal/ecological/evolutionary biology. No self-respecting molecular biologist should belittle these fields. I hold nothing but contempt for such people. Fair-weathered biologists. It's all about stepping out of your comfort zone.
2. Paper #2: Grant Proposal (ok...no IDEA how to get started on that either...)probably working on Polyphosphates.. and their possible application to tuberculosis treatment.
ARGH.... ok. The Paleobio database is finally done with my query.. let's see what data i've pulled out. Ooh... got some useful genera data for Articulata.
If this works out, i'm going to hunt for brachiopods, and keep them.
