Food fest.
Been eating quite a fair bit. Went to Cheesecake factory on wednesday night. We had a free meal! Haha... thanks to certain powers that be. My 1st cheesecake from the factory. A slice of German choc cheesecake. Yum. Very fatty though, i suspect. With the huge dollop of cream, and coconut shavings. But hey, it was free!
During gen.bot. class today, we had free cookies! Our prof. made cookies containing ingredients culled from basal angiosperms. Very fitting for the topic. It had cinnamon, bay, nutmeg and a touch of black pepper going into it. Amazingly yummy too. Yes, those 4 ingredients came from basal angiosperms, species that diverged the earliest during the evolution of angiosperms (flowering plants, to the layman). Nutmeg belongs to the magnoliales (amazing flowers, magnolia. BIG, FAT FLOWERS). Bay and cinnamon in the laurales (which includes sassafras, used in your yummy sarsi and rootbeer). Black pepper in piperales. Lots of lovely plants that aren't appreciated enough.
Oh yes, had polish sausage for lunch today! There was a world fair of sorts on campus today. And they had all these food stalls. Yes, the obligatory pseudo-chinese stall was there with chow mein, orange chicken, general tso's chicken, kung po chicken. Anymore chicken anyone? I love polish sausages... kielbasa. Spicy. Yum.
Very tempted to try baking, since i've got an oven sitting here. Might work on it after the exams. And if it works, i'll bring home batches of my baked goods. Hmm, then again, post-exam numbness may set in. Sheesh, why am i thinking about post-exams (granted it's 11 days away), i've not started studying. COZ there's still a 20 page paper undone. DUMB DUMB DUMB.
I need to pull it off, this paper. So hardcore reading this weekend.
It's actually rather cold during the dark hours now. Need gloves when cycling, if not hands hurt (thanks to the wind). Night temps hovering around 0-5 C.
Huge huge zit on my face. Huge. Never before huge. Did ice compression on it just now. Hoping that would take some heat off it.

Haha, that was a funny post. Flight of ideas .. classical of schiz. Might as well aggravate the pimple so u can get it out later?
