Lake Michigan by the city. I did the dumb thing of walking along the lake from the Field Museum back to downtown. Cold. Windy. But it was really pretty, with the skyline in front. The wind blowing off the lake was really brutal. Just move 50 metres to your left onto the main avenue and the wind chill factor becomes less evident.
