Subjectivity:

This was in the local papers - our 5 day forecast:
"Keep your coffee close and your mittens on. Low temperatures to drop again into the chilly mid 30s. Modest high today of 61."

Yah, it's below average for our area for late november. Yet, when i was in chicago, the midday temperatures were also in the mid30s, the weather forecasters there instead proclaimed that to be a COOL day. Not chilly. Haha... Instead, when the temperatures were falling into the 10s the next day, was that taken to be CHILLY.

In the tropics, mid 70s would be considered cold already, i think.
