Wonder if Monty (from the message board) would return to see this: I'm not actually named Monty. :-)
The name 'Montyelm' was derived from the Monterrey Cypress, which is a species of tree found in California - the famous Monterrey Cypress that has been photographed gazillion of times and the lovely elm trees (that have been ravaged by Dutch Elm Disease).
Oops, now i've revealed how geeky i am. Naming the blog after a plant.
Thanks anyway for the message! Appreciate it when my positivism rubs off other people.
Still slogging through my midterm paper. 6 questions. Done 4. (not convinced my answers are making sense). Genetics is so hard. No more genetics next quarter. Enough with mutations!
