Gosh. The experiment nearly worked.
Here's what happened yesterday.
0800 Got up
1000 Bacterial Genetics class
1130 Went home to cook lunch
1515 Botany class
1630 Sat in CoHo, waiting for training session at 1830. Drank a large cup of jasmine tea from Peet's and had a subway sandwich.
1830 Training (for the lab class i'm TA'ing next quarter)
2130 End of training - freakishly cold out there at night. Biked to starbucks (5 mins from my house) and picked up a Venti Latte. Venti at 10pm.
2200 Finished the rest of my subway sandwich (got a footlong). And started slurping down the coffee.
2300 Started working. Work work work.
0200 Ex-classmates from cambridge (now doing PhD there) messaged. What the hell was i doing at 2am?
0400 Ravenously hungry. Decided to make toasted sandwiched. Never use the Broil function in the oven (GOSH.. things turned charred black when you leave them in a bit too long)
0500 Going cuckoo. Decided to rest, even though i know there's a class at 0830. AND i know i will oversleep. Set alarm.
0730 Alarm went off. Alarm switched off. Went back to bed.
0820 Woke up. SHIT.
0825 Out of the house. Cycled like crazy.
0835 Arrived in Biochem Evolution class (the HARD class). Prof was late. Phew. Beginning of the lecture - was totally off the beat. Thankfully, i got ITalk by Griffin (cost me 25 bucks on Amazon - huge discount). It is an add-on to my IPod, allowing me to record sounds. So, lecture recorded! Yay. Can play back. Really, it's a hard class.
0950 End of class. Intrigued by ideas of how codons were assigned to amino acids during pre-biotic stages. Read Jeff Wong's papers for an idea.
1000 Grocery shopping at JJ&F. Was in a good mood. Got a selection of fish for the week. Tilapia, catfish and trout. (Don't ask me why i got those fish. They were the cheapest of the lot.) Wasn't about to get wild salmon fillets which cost 22 dollars/lb.
1045 Muddled back to house.
1345 Decided to see Biochem Evo prof for HELP with term paper. 20 pages. SHIT. Not even doing anything about it.
1415 Finalised ideas for the paper. At least that's 1 step done.
Hmm, i made my life sound so interesting there.
And the amazing thing is, even with 3 hours of sleep, i'm still functioning normally now, without coffee today.

Nice, see that you managed =) I hate staying up late though .. somehow I'll get ill the next day. Crap... another day of listening to how God caused people to become drug junkies. Anyway, the mystery of that final year student with the nice blog is solved. Here he is:
