Time is powerful. It leads to the unravelling of situations, the disclosure of answers and the forgetfulness of emotions.
I think a lock has just been unlocked. Not 100% sure that what's hidden behind the lock is what it seems, but at least you get a peek inside - perhaps something that sets your mind at ease, or something that stirs up that sinking sensation.
