Haven't zhui1 kan4 drama series in a long time: but 'War and Beauty' (a Hong Kong TVB production) is something that i'm following on cable. Interesting show with a good plot and good acting.

Might have to hunt for the vcds in order to finish the show before next week. Drats.

Went shopping for groceries to bring over. Apart from the usual selection of sauces and oils (which are quintessential in chinese cooking), i decided to bring along a selection of pastes that would broaden my avenues for experimentation. No idea whether they will work or not with western ingredients, but heck, when deprived, anything is gold.

I have a feeling i'm running the risk of repeating the fiasco that was 3 years ago when i packed - and they didn't fit into my bags. Dang, had to go get another BIGGER case. So, this time round, must start packing EARLIER.
