The photos below were taken during my 1 week trip to Florence and Pisa, post-exams, or should i say in-between exams. We stayed at 2 fabulous places. In Florence, we were at this campsite about 30 mins away from Florence by train. It was like a typical european summer campsite spot - complete with caravans and tents. Of course, we weren't that spectacular to drive to Florence. Instead we had a little cabin to ourselves. Not wooden thankfully, for on the 1st night, we met with a huge thunderstorm, complete with hailstones around 1-2cm in diameter.
The campsite in Florence had a lovely pool too, so it was sunbathing galore. Topping up tans and such. (Topping up looks wrong here. It was more an exercise in acquiring some colour after weeks of library air.)
Ice-cream everyday! And i found a yummy flavour - pear.
The place in Pisa was of a different sort. Still caravans galore. But this time, our cabin was sizeably larger, and we had a mini-kitchen, with stoves and sink. So we cooked dinner. I saw wines so cheap, that you wonder... 89 cents for 500 ml. Yah, they are definitely cheap table wine, but heck.... that's cheaper than mineral water.
