In Amsterdam, some of the 'Must-See' that we did see include the Anne Frank House (which was alright.. not exactly a brilliant museum, nor did it really do a good job at educating people, it was just one of the 'Must-See'.) The Van Gogh Museum was good though, as they displayed his works chronologically, which worked in the case of Van Gogh, as it gave you an idea how he changed over time. Heineken Breweries was haha.... so commercialised. The building is no longer a brewery, instead, it has been converted into a theme park of sorts, which illustrates the process of brewing and how the product has been marketed. Free mugs of beer too. Which kind of off-set the tacky displays.

On the whole, Amsterdam is a pleasant city. It doesn't quite have the buzz of larger capitals like London and Paris, nor is it a rustic antiquated capital. The canals are a definite plus of the city.
