This popped into my head just a moment ago, while i was listening to my music and doing work. The song playing was one by Liang Jing Ru. She has been singing for 6 years.

6 years ago, i was in school. I just started buying CDs. She just released her first album - a protege of Li Zong Sheng. Hardly anyone took notice. Who remembers Yi2 Ye4 Zhang3 Da4?

Now, she's an established singer. Not unlike many of her contemporaries who first appeared in the late 90s. Jolin? Elva?

Things change. The music industry changes.

Xu Huai Yu => Wang Xin Ling?

Maybe there are certain constants: The market demand doesn't change.

The above post probably doesn't make any sense to anyone who doesn't listen to mandarin pop, i realise.
