My Monthly Dose of City Life
Trotted down to London today, via the coach (cheaper, although twice as long). And i did some shopping. Some, i stress. Kept counting how much i spent through the day. Got myself new pens at Muji, they have fantastic pens and they are cheap (well, in the context of Britain). I must have taken the Tube so many times, as i zipped from point to point, refusing to walk. Selfridges was not good, didn't find anything there. Selfridges is a huge dept. store a la Isetan, Taka, which sells everything, including branded goods. Well, i think most of their stuff are upper class anyway. But they have pretty display windows. All very x'massy, well, they think it's x'massy.
Next stop, Harrods. Another famous British establishment. No Harrods sale since i'll be away in Central Europe, so have to make do now. Did get some stuff there, of the edible kind. Rather posh, i say. Shall try out my purchases later tonight, and see if they are worth the money.
Then, i popped down to the National Gallery to look at European paintings. Found a few pretty ones that i liked, will talk about them in a separate post. Bought myself a mouse pad there. Finally, a mouse pad. I have survived all these months without one. So, it's a lovely addition to my desk.

This feels chatty. As though i'm talking to someone. Must try to do more serious writing some time.
