Update time. Time: No more British Standard Time. Time: Greenwich Median Time. Earned an extra hour of sleep as the clocks went back an hour early this morning. Which is sort of disruptive, if you work in the early hours. 1:59am - 1:00am. 13 o'clock anyone? But the extra hour is well earned, since we'll lose the hour in march. So, no hours gained. Time - a very difficult concept to grasp.


Bought a new coat! Been surviving on cotton, which is not going to work very well when we're going to eastern europe in december. Require the animal-based material! Not FUR! of course. My fascination with plant storage tissue has gone up a notch. Cooked beet roots. Shall experiment with parsnips and turnips next... although i'm not quite sure what to do with them.


There's plenty to do, but so much inertia. Sucks.


US Presidential elections on tuesday. Alas, the time difference between UK and US is not good. Staying overnight, in the wee hours for the results of the electoral college, would be fine, if not for the long wednesday. To the detriment of Wednesday. Jeez, but it's once in 4 years. Reminded me of the Gore-Bush elections. Watched some of it on CNN. How ever did i have the time to watch it, if i had to go to school? I'm puzzled. But i remember watching CNN revealing which states went to which man. And the Florida fiasco. Oh well.


It's Halloween. And Guy Fawkes' Night next week. Fireworks are going off with increasing frequency.
