Today was an odd day. One, i walked straight through a lab, while a class was being conducted, to get the offices on the other side. There's actually another way up to the offices, but i chose the lab way. Hmm.. it was awkward, but heck, i walked right through, because stopping and turning back would look worse. At the end of the lab, stood the lovely lab tech, who told me NEVER AGAIN to walk this way through the lab. EEKS.. guilt trip laid. Had a meeting with Roger, my essay supervisor, talking about phytoremediation of radioactive-contaminated soils Caesium, and what not.., thinking about the earlier incident, feeling awfully bad. Hmm.. decided to apologise to the prof conducting the lesson. Went to her office and apologised. She was surprised. And had ZILCH recollections about what happened.. she NEVER noticed me walking thru... grr.. lab tech!


Two, cycling back. Waiting for the lights to turn green at a cross-junction to do a left turn. People were crossing the road... an old lady was crossing. She was pushing her trolley, when a taxi next to me, honked at her.. he wanted her to SPEED up and the charming old lady said "Same to you, mate!" with a look of indignance. Now, i was next to the taxi, in front of the old mam, so.. it did kind of feel like she was referring to me.. hmm.. not very pleasant.


That's all i have to report. Hoping dinner turns out brilliant.. although i am not convinced that it looks brilliant at the moment.. still too much liquid.
