[Sparked off by 'Sex and the City' 401]

When you fill in forms, the age section is sometimes discreetly set up so that you declare your age in steps of 5. Are you 26-30, or 41-45? As we move from age box to age box, only one way up, i'm afraid. do we get better at running our lives or worse?

The tangle of human relationships get more complicated with each day; it becomes impossible to unravel the head of the thread from the tail. Even if we seem to be in control, we are actually stuck in the middle of an impossible mess.

OR

We get better since we have past experiences to fall back on and refer. We know the mistakes and fallacies, and avoid going the same path. Do we learn from history? We don't really, do we?
