Haven't seen roaches for a long time at home. One did appear last night. Pesky little fellow, had to spray it with obscenely high doses of insecticide before it convulsed and died. Not that i was particularly violent, but I refuse to go to bed knowing that a roach is lurking somewhere in my room. Besides, it's not going to give rise to insecticide-resistance, i killed the roach. Ain't gonna reproduce to give more baby roaches!

Suddenly find the previous paragraph distasteful. Roaches. You'd better not be eating at this moment in time. Made some purchases two days ago and i'm really pleased with myself. Is this a sign of narcissism? Yes, just to point out, the dates of my post are in Czech. Not as obvious as the more well-known european languages, but it is after all a language that gave us the word 'robot'. Huge word, isn't it?

The lady who sent me this reply evidently thinks too highly of my proficiency. Could only make out some words... bits and bops... had to ask her for the english translation. Anyway, key word to pick out here would be Ahoj which means Hello! English is such an unfriendly language to pick up, think about the letters 'ough'. Think of words with 'ough' in them. How many different ways can you pronounce 'ough'? More than 5, at the very least. Bought, through, cough, bough, though, rough... any more examples? Share with us!
